In Eastern religions, Samsāra represents the cycle of successive rebirths. One is born, lives, dies, and is reborn until one can reach Nirvana and be released from successive lives.
In the game Samsara, your character will live multiple lives, during which you will choose to focus on different stages: his childhood, his couple, the experience of death ... These choices will allow you to enrich his soul, to improve one's karma. By your actions, you will also accumulate good and bad karma, which will affect your abilities.
If you are the first to recover five Amulets of Eternity,
you will reach Nirvana and win the game.
Concretely, Samsara uses the principle of deck-building, coupled with a system of displacement of pion. Each turn, you get an action card, which you add to your hand. These cards are used both to play actions (draw, collect other cards, etc.), and to buy the Amulets of Eternity, which is the goal of the game.
Some actions can also recover good karma cards: they serve as a wild card for the purchases of Amulets of Eternity.
In Samsara, just as in life, there are often several ways to perform an action: a good one and a bad one. The good is less effective, but do not soil your karma. The bad will be simpler but will require you to take bad karma cards. These cards are bulky penalties, and it is very difficult to get rid of them.
